Quality Management

Menu: Quality & Documents › Quality ManagementPackage: Kalite Yönetimi (QMS)

Quality Management (Kalite Yönetimi) collects the company’s quality records in one place: inspection of incoming and produced goods, nonconformities (NCR) and the decisions given on them, corrective and preventive action (CAPA), risk and FMEA, internal and external audits, supplier quality, customer complaints, measuring instrument calibration, change control, staff competency, and quality objectives and costs.

Records link to each other: a rejected inspection can open a quality event and an NCR, an NCR opens a CAPA, and a CAPA closes an audit finding or a complaint. The screen is a single multi-tab page; which tabs you see depends on your role permissions.

Quality Management

The quality officer, inspection staff, production and purchasing officers, internal auditors, the calibration officer, the HR training officer and top management. View on at least one of the quality permission pages is enough to open the screen. Each tab depends on its own section permission (Settings › Roles): for example Quality - events, inspection, nonconformity (NCR), CAPA, risk and FMEA, audits, supplier quality, customer complaints, calibration, change control, training / competency, and objective / KPI / COPQ. The dashboard, Quality 360 and reports follow any quality page. Settings need View on Quality - events to see the lists and Edit on Quality - settings to change them. Inspection decision, NCR closure, CAPA effectiveness verification and closure, change verification, audit planning and quality cost depend on separate permission pages stated on the related tab pages.

  1. In Settings set up the lists.
  2. In Inspection plans define and publish the plan and criteria; open and decide an inspection on the Inspection tab.
  3. If there is a rejection or nonconformity, open an event from Quality events and open an NCR from the event; on the NCR card run the containment action, decision, concession and closure.
  4. If a root cause is needed, open a CAPA from the NCR card and follow the steps on the CAPA card.
  5. For the process side use Audits, Supplier quality, Complaints, Calibration, Change control and Competency.
  6. Follow results with Objective / KPI / COPQ, Quality 360, Insights and Reports.

Step-by-step screen guides are currently available in Turkish; the links above open them.
