Migration / Bulk Import
What it is for
Section titled “What it is for”When you move from another accounting program, you import the old records in bulk from a CSV or XLSX file instead of entering them one by one. Four data sets are supported: Journal entry, Opening trial balance, Open invoice (account carry-over) and Cheque / note portfolio. The file is first read and validated, and faulty rows are shown with their row numbers. Nothing is written until you press Import.

Who uses it
Section titled “Who uses it”The accounting officer running the migration project. View on the General Ledger page is needed to see the screen. To import you need Add on the General Ledger - Manual Entry page, and for the opening trial balance also Approve on General Ledger - Period and Year-End Closing (Settings › Roles). Without permission the file chooser is not shown.
Screens
Section titled “Screens”- Data set selector (Veri kümesi): choose the type; changing it clears the previous file and result. The card shows the explanation and the Template header row, which your file’s first row must match (case, spaces and Turkish characters do not matter).
- File (CSV / XLSX): up to 5 MB; the system validates it and shows badges for rows, valid, faulty rows and rejected entries.
- Journal entry summary: for entries, row numbers, debit and credit.
- Import (Aktar): if there are late-dated entries one confirmation window asks for a reason; if you decline, the late entries are rejected and the others are imported.
- Import Result (Aktarım Sonucu): imported, skipped and rejected counts and the status of each row.
How each set behaves:
- Journal entry: rows are grouped by entry number; a single invalid row rejects the whole entry.
- Opening trial balance: all rows become one opening entry and must share one date; if the trial balance is not balanced nothing is written.
- Open invoice: invoices are written as open items on the account, not built as new documents, because the VAT of a carried-over invoice was already declared in the old system.
- Cheque / note: documents are opened in portfolio status and no accounting entry is produced, since the counterpart comes from the opening trial balance and writing both would count twice.
